As a core hub of innovation in the Gyeongbuk region, the Technopark plays a leading role in driving the revitalization of the local economy.
In 2027, Korea’s first Food Tech Research Support Center dedicated to cellular foods is scheduled to open in Uiseong County, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The approximately 2,660㎡ facility will be established with public investment totaling KRW 14.5 billion and will provide comprehensive, end-to-end support for companies—from process development and scale-up to mass production, prototype manufacturing, safety evaluation, and regulatory approval assistance.
