The Japan Association for Cellular Agriculture (JACA) and APAC-SCA signed a Memorandum of Understanding for further collaboration to advance the field of cultivated food
APAC-SCA and Japan Association for Cellular Agriculture (JACA) agreed to build cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the collaboration to advance the field of cultivated food in Japan and beyond.
JACA and APAC-SCA share a close and mutually beneficial relationship.
In cooperation with international organizations, JACA aims to deliver information about the progress in Japan to the rest of the world so that JACA can contribute to building a global consensus on how the cellular agriculture field should be deployed and expanded into society.
This MoU enables JACA to work more closely with the global network of the industry, while providing APAC-SCA with more influence in assisting JACA in Japan.
Collaborative activities include
- JACA to provide feedback on APAC-SCA’s communication strategy in Japan
- JACA to provide recommendations in expanding APAC-SCA material/initiatives where their capacity allows
- APAC-SCA to share JACA the progress of discussions in the APAC-SCA community and overseas
- APAC-SCA to connect JACA & Japanese stakeholders to stakeholders abroad where possible
- Developing a risk communications strategy/plan
